I thought I'd start writing a blog about my surrogacy journey so far!
I've been contacted by so many nice people :).I really wish everyone the best in their search for a surrogate mother or egg donor.Hearing about their lives, their struggles and their dreams have made me realize what a terrible issue infertility is around the world.More steps need to be taken to make IVF and similar alternatives cheaper and more widely available.It's so touching to see all these parents who are filled with love for the unborn children.
I've also been contacted by one really scary person! A man who is apparently known through out the surrogacy community for stalking surrogate mothers and wanting to "home inseminate".I am not here for home inseminate or "natural insemination".I am not a prostitute.I am a married woman who has no interest in having sex with men who are not my husband.People like this make it harder on the intended parents who are struggling to find surrogates.
I'm also wanted to use this space and future posts to share a little more about myself and my life.It's so hard to pick a surrogate on a few paragraphs and I want to ensure intended parents get the whole picture of who I am and who my family is.
I'm looking forward to meeting the future intended parents and experiencing this wonderful journey with them! :)
