Rotunda

Rotunda conveniently provides comprehensive IVF services in all one facility, so that patients re not bothered with being shuttled from clinic to lab and scan center.

Our practice is restricted to exclusively treating infertile patients, offering them the best medical care at affordable rates. Rotunda is India’s first ISO 9001 – 2000 certified IVF center. What makes Rotunda unique is that your entire IVF process is carried out by the doctor rather than passing things on to other IVF staff members.

At Rotunda, we recognize the importance of our health care team functioning as a coordinated unit in the overall treatment plan. Each member of the Rotunda staff, from the physicians to the egg donor coordinator, plays a critical role in providing the high-level of reproductive healthcare that our patients have come to expect at Rotunda. We acknowledge the skills and contributions of each team member and support education, outreach and research to enhance our staff's knowledge and further the field of reproductive health care.

At Rotunda, we deal with all aspects of male and female infertility. We have one of the largest Human Sperm Banking facilities in India. We also do long-term sperm Cryopreservation for cancer-afflicted young men.

The process with Rotunda is simple. When you arrive, you will have a consultation with Dr. Gautam. You should bring with you any information or documents from previous undergone IVF treatments to show the doctor.

A clear schedule will be laid out after the initial consultation that will describe each and every step to be taken throughout the entire process. We have a multimedia conference room that is set up for the patients to watch patient education videos.

IVF Success Rates in Mumbai, India
What makes our success rates higher than other clinics is that we transfer more than two embryos to patients who have a difficult time conceiving. In the UK and Australia the number of transferable embryos is limted by law to a maximum of two. Transferring more than two embryos increases the risk of multiple pregnancy, however this is not the case in some patients who have a difficult time getting pregant (e.g. women over 40 or women who have undergone IVF before with unsuccessful results). At our clinic, we believe that the number of embryos to be transferred should be customized according to each patient's unique case, rather than following a guideline that has been set for the general population. We make it a point to consider each and every patient's specific problem.

Contacting previous patients of ours

We have a long list of patients from all over the world who came to Rotunda for IVF treatment. It is sometimes comforting to speak to someone who has done this before and to listen to a third person perspective about the clinic you are considering for your IVF treatment. We welcome this and encourage you to contact our international patients.

Please contact us at contact@visitandcare.com to request a list of our patients' names and e-mail addresses.

Why is IVF much less expensive in India than the US?

Even though we use the same technology, medical equipment and culture medium as IVF labs in the US, doctors in India charge a lot less than their colleagues in the west, because India is still a developing country.
