Dear IP, Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My decision to become a surrogate started years ago when I found out I was pregnant with twins. I know what your thinking, but it was not the fact that I got pregnant very quickly with twins that made me consider doing this.So I broke the news in a humorous way by sending an ultrasound picture and a raunchy swear word to my older sister.She found this hilarious but responded with her own heartbreaking humor.She told me that she asked her husband if they wanted a kid, because I had one to spare.Though she sincerely was laughing at my expense and meant nothing by it, I felt hurt.Not because she wanted my kid but because she could have none of her own.So I offered her a twin.She was hesitant and was right to be because I would come to find out I was having a boy and a girl.My husband wanted a boy and I a girl.How would we choose? Maybe a twin is not the answer?
