Why I want to be a surrogate mother:

I truly believe that peace on earth begins with peace at birth. Through the option of surrogacy, parents get the unique chance to bond with their child from the first moments of their development. I see this is critical and especially want to provide this to families who wouldn't otherwise have be given this bonding experience.

Description of myself:

I am a particularly eclectic mix of cultures and experiences.I was raised in a small Mexican-American farming town.I am the oldest of three children, but I grew up in a mixed home and have always been in love with taking care of children.I left home at 17 to be an Au-Pair in Boston and the following summer I began my international career as an Au-Pair in Switzerland.In *** I studied in Ecuador and became interested in midwifery.For the past five years I have been a doula and a midwife's apprentice.

My letter to intended parents:

Dear Family, First, I want to give you a big hug and remind you that you are going to be a parent soon! Congratulations on all of the hard work and heart work you have put into getting to this place. I am looking for a supportive family who wants a strong connection with their surrogate mother.It is one of my dreams to offer this service to a family who otherwise wouldn't be able to have this intimate bond with their child.
