As an intended parent, I am so grateful that there are women all around the world who get to a place in their lives where they decide they want to be of the greatest possible help to someone like me - unable to carry a pregnancy to full term.
It cant be an easy decision to make - there are moral, ethical, religious and possibly cultural implications.Ideally, there is also getting the support of family and partners that some women need to validate they have made the right decision to donate their eggs to another couple.
And for us, the intended parents, taking that leap of faith, trusting in the egg donor angel, keeping a lid on that well of love that is bursting to be bestowed on a family - it is an experience that is emotional, financially challenging, it can lift our spirits from the lows of years of unsuccessful attempts.
