Since before my own children were born, I've dreamed of being a surrogate. Not only did I want to have my own children, but I wanted to be able to share that gift with others. Now with 3 boys (9, 7, and 5) and our family complete, it's time for me to start putting myself out there instead of just hoping the right IPs will randomly drop into my lap. :)
I love pregnancy and I love birth. My last 2 sons were born in beautiful homebirths, and I'd love to experience that again. I'd love to have IPs who live decently close and want to be involved in going to appointments, possibly being present for the birth, and maybe even consider having another baby with me down the line.
I feel like I've been waiting to long to give someone this gift that it's difficult to continue waiting! I would prefer traditional surrogacy, simply because I tend to desire as little medical intervention as safely possible, although I'm sure I could be convinced for the right family.
I can't wait to make updates here that say things like "I've met them!" and "my IPs are pregnant!". :D
I would have loved to have a home birth. Birth is amazing and it's the most powerful Iv ever felt. I would live to give birth again but with no tubes due to ectopic pregnancies I can't without Ivf. I'm totally interested intricate part of the development and delivery of my baby. I would love to be friends with my surrogate mother and stay in touch always.
