A few months later we met Bec our surrogate. We had originally met with someone in QLD who had offered to be a surrogate for us and then, unfortunately, had her own health issues so was advised not to. She, however, put us in contact with Bec who we connected with on Families through Surrogacy Facebook group. We spent a few months chatting on the phone and skyping and then met in Melbourne. We all got along so well with her and her husband as well as their three kids, (they now have four).
