Why I want to be an egg donor:

I have been able to take advantage of many opportunities that allow me to lead a successful life and I attribute most of my success to my family and the environment that they provided for me and raised me in. I know that as a young, healthy individual, I am able to help others who cannot complete their families through traditional means. Additionally, I realize that my background and education is very unique, and may match what intended parents are looking for. I want to help in whatever way possible.

Description of myself:

I was born and raised in the US. I attended a competitive college preparatory program in high school, attended a top public university with full scholarships as an undergraduate, and am currently a graduate student at an Ivy League university. I played all types of sports growing up and stay fit, and am overall very well rounded. I grew up in a very tight-knit, family environment. Both my maternal and paternal extended family, including my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, all lived in the same area as my family. My younger sister is less than 2 years younger than me, and I had many cousins who were only a few years older or younger than me, so we always had lots of people our own age to spend time with. My mother’s side of the family often hosted family dinners and gatherings, and I really appreciated and enjoyed being able to see my entire family on a regular basis. Overall, I am a very kind, thoughtful, and determined individual. I was raised in an environment that taught me that to care for those who mean the most to me, and to be nice and respectful to everyone that I meet. I am definitely responsible and goal oriented, and take initiative and plan ahead whenever possible. I have always been focused on being involved and committed to my academics and activities that would be best for my personal interests and growth. Many people in my life have described me as hardworking, earnest, intuitive, and reflective. Although I feel very independent, I am also extremely family oriented and value my relationships with those close to me. I try to look at situations optimistically, and prioritize things that are important so that I can live life in the most meaningful way possible.

Your journey to complete your family has likely been expected, complex, and filled with obstacles and uncertainty. I understand that this a very difficult situation to be in, but would be honored to help in whatever way I can. I am sending positive thoughts and all my best wishes.
