Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:
Soon after our marriage, we started trying to have children (as we'd both always wanted to be parents), but in the course of trying for a pregnancy, Karen was diagnosed with type-1 diabetes as well as a thyroid disorder. Once those conditions were under control, we did conceive 3 times, but each time Karen had a miscarriage. Given her health problems, we were advised that a gestational surrogate would likely be our best hope. Accordingly, we have frozen embryos ready for transfer and are otherwise ready to move forward when we find the right surrogate.
