Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:
We have been trying to have a baby for over 24 months with no success. We are seeking out fertility options, but do not want to do IVF. We are open to having a surrogate mother, and have decided to further explore this as an option.
How would you best describe yourself(s):
I have been working with children for as long as I can remember. After high school, I became a nanny and pursued my education in Child Development. I currently work as a wedding and portrait photographer as well as a nanny. I am outgoing, passionate, compassionate, overall very goofy and am always laughing. I tend to have a calm and easy going demeanor, but can definitely be tough and serious (just ask the kids I nanny, HA). I have a very determined personality. I prepare and plan for everything. I like being organized. I love riding bikes, swimming, hiking, ect.. I love being outdoors, normally with my camera in hand. I love to travel! I get to travel all the time for my business and love every single minute of it. I am looking forward to taking my kids with me when I travel and my job allows for me to do so. I enjoy reading and music. Most of my time is spent with kids doing kid things, so it just makes sense for me to be a mom.

My name is Shelby and I am 20 years old. I live in Columbus, Indiana with my husband and our 14-month-old son. I am a midwifery student at Midwives College of Utah. I strive to give a deserving family the child they've always wanted. I am open to keeping contact with the family after the birth. I am open to involving the family in as much of the pregnancy and birth process as they want.
