We have been trying to have children for the past five years. We have attempted IVF twice and have been unsuccessful. We have four frozen embryos. I am 46 and my wife is 37. While we continue to try to have children naturally, the clock is not in our favor.
My wife and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary this coming Fall. We have a very happy marriage and love each other deeply. We are a mixed couple living in the Bay Area. My wife is African American and I am Caucasian. We are both from large families and are each the youngest of five children. Over 20 family members live here in the Bay Area. We both had wonderful loving parents and great upbringings. My parents are still alive and healthy, well into their 80's. My wife's parents passed away when she was young, but were wonderful people as well. We own several successful businesses together and are fortunate to be at a place in our lives where we can be selective as to how much we work and would love to focus on starting a family.
Ideally, we would love to find someone either local to Northern California or someone willing to relocate here during of the pregnancy. Due to the success of our businesses, we have unique employment opportunities and living accommodations to offer a surrogate who is looking for a fresh start while helping us have kids.
