Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

I only am in need for a gestational carrier, due to a cancer diagnosis. I was diagnosed with cervical cancer and due to the location ( 1 mm from the opening of the uterus) I was unable to keep my Uterus. I do have a child from a previous child, but my fiancé and I don’t have a biological child and we’re trying for one at the time of the discovery of my cancer. I was fortunate because it had not spread, and I got to keep my ovaries. So no chemo or radiation was needed. Just a modified radical hysterectomy.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

I am a active person. Happy and very driven and love being a mom, soon a wife. We are on the extended plan, lol. I love being with my family, watching movies and doing outdoor activities. We go camping every summer and spend time up north at a family cabin. It’s very rustic, no indoor plumbing. But we enjoy it.

Use this space to communicate a letter to potential Surrogates/Donors:

I don’t have a lot of money, and have no current family member that is able to carry for me. I was hoping to find someone local to the Rochester, MN area that could carry for me. This is a lot to ask of someone, I know. I will provide compensation for doing this and cover any expenses that are not covered, but can not afford a lot of money that I’ve seen when you go through a agency. I obviously will pay for the frozen transfer and then we can discuss a compensation package. I work as a paramedic, so money is limited. I was hoping there would be a kind soul out there, but I understand if some are unwilling.
