People are usually more compassionate to an infertile couple, and I did see their struggle and my heart goes out to them. For me, my fertility chance is ZERO, literally 0 if by myself, and I think that is sad too. You have no idea about how much I want to be a parent and how much I am willing to do to achieve that goal. That beautiful experience (or headache) should be a right (or obligation) to everyone who wants it. I did consider adoption as I feel for the kids out there. But again, people have so much bias against singles, especially single men. The bureaucratic hurdles killed nearly all the possibility and I am very disheartened. It seems that surrogacy is the only option for me even though it often symbolizes insurmountable challenges along the way. The people around me and I myself always see a fatherly figure in me and I get along very well with kids. I am traditional as family means a lot to me and like most people, I wanted to have the other half first and kids later. Unfortunately I do not have much luck. Now I still see the right person is awaiting somewhere, but my dream of parenthood becomes stronger day by day. I know it won't be easy, but I am determined. Love makes a family, even if it's with one parent, so I am confident that I can have a modern family with my traditional beliefs. I live in Sydney, and enjoy reading, movies, TV, badminton, jogging, eating out, cooking (esp Asian food),travel and photography (amature though). I am a teacher and love my job.
