Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

I've struggled with chronic back/spinal issues since I was a teenager, and had a pelvic fusion surgery 3 years ago. As a result, I'm unable to physically carry a pregnancy per Doctor's orders. We do have viable embryos ready to go, but need your help with the remaining part of the process :). As mentioned, we are family-oriented and have a huge local support system. We've both always wanted to be parents and are very close with my local niece and nephew. Watching them grow up from baby to toddler to 1st grader (!! how time flies) has really cemented how excited and ready we are to do the same with little ones of our own.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

Hi There! We are Alex (35M) + Kate (31F), a married couple living in Mercer Island, WA looking for a GC. We've been together for 9 years, married for 4, and both work full-time (albeit from home for the time being!) in the Tech industry. Outside of work, we spend a LOT of time with nearby family (weekly 'Big Sunday Dinners' with my parents, brother, SIL, 6YO niece and 3YO nephew; plus monthly visits to my in-laws on Bainbridge Island). We love Geocaching, cooking, and playing board/card/strategy games. We are huge dog people and spoil our two fur-babies, Olive and Finley (that's Fin in the picture above). Personality-wise, I'd describe us both as 'outgoing introverts' - easy to get along with and love spending time with close friends/family, but also happy spending many weekends relaxing in PJs on the couch. We are open and honest; I am genuinely willing to answer ANY question you have. We share a sarcastic (and often inappropriate) sense of humor. Having a GC whose personality meshes with ours is very important to us as we go through this crazy and amazing journey together!
