Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

IP’s looking for GS in Ok. Willing to travel to surrounding states. my first daughter was born stillborn and then I suffered 3 miscarriages. I was told (by an ER doc who had no business telling me) that I could not carry to full term. When I found myself pregnant again, I was devastated at the thought of having to go through the loss again and was referred to a specialist who diagnosed me with MTHFR. It’s a gene mutation known to cause miscarriage. Shortly after, found that I had a blood clot separating my placenta from my uterus and was put on bed rest for two months. My miracle baby made it to full-term and she’s about to be 9! After delivering her, doc found precancerous cells on my cervix and removed 4 parts. For 4 years everything was healthy and I conceived again! After delivering my son, a checkup showed precancerous cells were not only back (doc says pregnancy can accelerate cell growth), but covering my entire cervix and that a partial hysterectomy would be required. I’m fortunate to be left with ovaries and eggs. While I was going through that, I was also dealing with an ugly divorce from my husband who I was with almost 10 years. Flash forward, I’m in a better position in life than I’ve ever been in, my kids are being raised in a home that is our own and get to witness what true love and happiness look like. My partner is the best step Dad, but has no kids of his own. A family member had offered to surro for us and stumbled into some trouble in her life, which led her to move out of state without a word. We were devastated at being so close and now feeling like we’re starting again. We’ve already done our egg and semen analysis, blood work, and I’m ready to start my meds and egg retrieval for embryos.
