We would very much like to be parents. We lost our baby daughter two years ago but our doctor in Montreal says there is hope - we can become parents with the help of an egg donor.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

We are an 'artsy' couple.I am a teacher and my husband is a musician (trumpet and trombone).We enjoy many arts festivals and concerts throughout the year in Montreal.We are also very adventurous - we love to go on long trips and hope to take our future child around the world some day to see the world's beauty and learn about world cultures.

My name is Leah and my husband and I are looking for an altruistic egg donor.Tragically, two years ago we lost our baby girl - I was just over 5 months pregnant.Our doctor gave us renewed hope to become parents when he suggested that we find an egg donor.A little about us: We have been married almost 3 years.We are an 'artsy' couple.We chose to live in Montreal due to its vibrant arts scene and we enjoy many of the festivals the city has to offer.My husband is a musician (trumpet and trombone) and I am a teacher.Although I have been substitute teaching recently, I consider teaching English as a Second Language my specialty.I taught English for 6 years in Japan and hope to return to Asia to teach someday. My husband and I love to travel and we have gone on many trips together. We hope we can share travel with our future child - we would love to introduce him or her to the world's beauty and the world's cultures.As far as the background of an egg donor - we really don't care about 'so-called' race / ethnicity.These are made up concepts and we are a big mixture anyway.(My husband has Guyanese, Chinese and Irish background.)
