Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

I would love to have children, but sadly I haven't got a uterus sooooo here I am. I'm overall pretty awesome, and I know I'd be able to offer a child so much love, laughter and joy throughout their lives.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

I'm funny, yet serious. Knowledgeable, yet ignorant. Experienced, yet unaware. Looking to find the best way to live my life that makes me and those I interact with happy.

Use this space to communicate a letter to potential Surrogates/Donors:

I need to be able to trust my surrogate *** and vis versa for this arrangement/situation to work properly for both of us. I need to know that you're going to care just as much about my feelings as you do your own. I need to know that you're going to take my ideas, thoughts and needs into consideration every day. Just as you need to know that I will do whatever I can to help you through what is going to be 9 stressful, happy, sad and health altering months. With that being said, I'm supposed to communicate to a potential "mommy" but not really sure how to do that. I'm not the judging type, although there might be some mitigating factors, but over all as long as she is kind, caring, compassionate and sincere, then we should be fine. I'm not concerned with race, ethnicity or any other mumbo jumbo because race is just a word, and culture is learned from those around you in the community in which you grow. I really don't care about whether you're Asian, African, Hispanic, Caucasian or Mixed because Diversity = Beautiful! Once I meet her/you then I'll pretty much know before the meeting is over if they/you're the one I should share the creation of a life with. ***BIG NOTE*** I'm not looking to pay anyone to be a surrogate for me. I know a lot of people do that, as it is can sometimes be costly to have a child. However, most health care costs are generally taken care of through one's healthcare provider. Not only that but I, like most intended parents, cannot afford it.So, I'm not really sure why I would or should have to pay someone to have a child.If she is willing to help create a life with me, and I'm willing to help her through the process, it shouldn't cost anything more than my time, compassion and love. It's not that I think paying someone for services rendered isn't justified, I just don't think I should have to pay for a child.Obviously I would help pay for extras if needed but let's be honest - you're not a hotel renting out a room, you don't need five, ten, or twenty thousand dollars to help me out. We're creating a life here, not shopping at the mall. Also just a quick FYI to anyone reading this: It is against the law in MANY states, to pay a surrogate or anyone for a child, as it's considered child trafficking....so there's that.Meaning I will NOT being paying for a surrogate. Look I'm a crazy guy who just likes to enjoy life (I'm not a free spirit, a hippie, nor do I want to live in a commune), so if I sound like someone you'd be interested in helping create a life with, or you're just curious and have some questions, please get in touch and see where it goes. ***P.S.Obviously a lot to read, so thanks for making it through.
