Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

When I was born, I was classified as a 'blue baby;' (a baby born with blue tinge to the skin) by doctors and a few weeks later, after some testing, I was diagnosed with a Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) called Tricuspid Atresia.Tricuspid Atresia is when the tricuspid valve in the right chamber isn't formed, instead there's a solid tissue between the top and bottom champers.Throughout my lifetime, I have had 4 open heart surgeries which include: Fontan Procedure, A shunt operation, a repair to the shunt, and a Pacemaker procedure. I knew from pervious cardiologist appointments that I was a higher risk for a child with a CHD (normal families have 1 in *** chance while I have 6-9% chance).We still wanted to start the process but upon going to the cardiologist we were informed that, thanks to my CHD and Fontan Procedure, the baby and myself would be at the highest of high risk during pregnancy.
