Why I want to be a surrogate mother:
I work on the pediatric floor at a local hospital. For years I have met many amazing families who try so hard to get pregnant and it takes years. Many of these families say it would make it easier if they could find someone who wants to be a surrogate for the right reasons. I would love to bring the joy I have received by my children to someone else.

I just wanted to comment on what someone wrote to you, traditional surrogacy is using your egg, that baby is 50%yours and gestational surrogacy is *** and my husbands and no operation is ever required...I really hope people know what exactly they are looking for and what the procedure entails.As a Gestational surrogate, you would take some medications to make your uterus a hospitable environment for an embryo, when ready for the transfer of my embryo its about as uncomfortable as a Pap test and maybe not even that much., then you take it easy for 2 weeks until the blood pregnancy test.Really the only real pain you'll have is at delivery.The process as a TS is a bit more complicated as you would be emotionally and have chromosomal attachments to that child.Good luck to everyone.
