Why I want to be a surrogate mother:
Infertility is an unfortunate thing, and something that choses you.Whether same sex, single or heterosexual, the common ground is that there is a want for family.I would like to help in this capacity. I want my own children to witness and learn about the bigger picture in life as well.I want to provide a gift that others may have been deprived.
Description of myself:
As a full time working and married mom of 2 (and surro mama of 2) with a recent delivery November *** I am currently on hiatus and likely retired. It's a very bittersweet position to be in.I am thankful and humbled to have carried a couple of amazing tiny humans and build another family, but am also terribly sad at the idea of not being a part of this amazing experience again. Time will tell but for the moment, I need to fully recuperate before I move onto the next chapter in my life, whichever path that may lead me to ♡
Happy New Year! As we get into the new year, we look back and count our blessings and friendships that we have gathered during these past months. We look forward to fulfill our long cherished dream! We are a same-sex couple from Toronto, Canada, and strive to start a family. We share a love for nature, an interest in spirituality, and are passionate about animal rights and a plant-based lifestyle. In fact, that's what brought us together 4 years ago. While we are occupied with computers and technology in our professional lives, we spend our evenings exploring less-trodden streets and trails. We also volunteer our time to promote initiatives championing healthy lifestyle through food, find passion in teaching meditation, and supporting new immigrants and LGBTQ refugees in Canada . Given how we are positioned in life, we feel this is the right time to start a family and shower our kids with the love we hold in our hearts. With this intention, we look for a kind-hearted individual willing to help us bring our babies to this world! For us, a surrogate is not just a carrier – we intend to build and maintain a lasting bond with them and have them in our lives as friends (of course, to the extent they are comfortable). We understand that you, as our surrogate, may have certain expectations around the level of support you'd need during the pregnancy. Please know that we are committed to being there, whenever you want and facilitate things. We will need to have conversations around very diverse topics, but we will always listen, understand and share points of view and needs. And once the child is born, we assure you that they will have a wonderful life, loving parents, and family. We also welcome our surrogate to form a special bond with our kids, if they so desire.
