Why I want to be a surrogate mother:

I am finished having children of my own and would love to help another family achieve their dream of having a baby/babies.

Description of myself:

I am a 34-year-old single mom of 2 amazing kids, 11 & 4.I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and am currently substitute teaching, however, if I were to become a surrogate I would take time off from work to focus on the pregnancy.I enjoy cooking, gardening, crafting, being outdoors, and spending time with my kids.I have never smoked or done drugs and very seldom drink alcohol.

My letter to intended parents:

Dear hopeful parent(s), I assume if you are reading this, you are unable to have children of your own.You may have even become pregnant, only to have lost the baby (or babies).I understand the pain of losing a child, because I myself have lost two babies due to circumstances beyond my control.I also have had two healthy pregnancies and cherish my surviving kids more than anything else in the world.It would bring me great joy to give your baby a safe, healthy place to grow until he/she is ready to meet you. I had my first child, a healthy 9 lb.9 oz.baby boy in *** issues or complications whatsoever.I breastfed him for 14 months.In *** I became pregnant with my second child, and at 14 weeks gestation she was diagnosed with anencephaly, a fatal neural tube defect.Even though we knew she had no chance of survival, we chose to carry to term.She was stillborn at 32 weeks.In *** I had my third child, another healthy 9 lb.14 oz.baby, this time a girl! No issues or complications.I breastfed her for 22 months.Then in *** I miscarried with my 4th child, a boy, at 14 weeks gestation.He was entangled in the cord. I am so thankful for my two healthy children and feel like my family is complete.Consider me in letting me help make your family complete. Respectfully, Taylor Bernard
