Why I want to be a surrogate mother:
I was considering being a surrogate mother to a friend experiencing repeated difficulty with IVF who had given up. I began to explore surrogacy to see if it was something I was willing to do. By the time I decided to go through with it by only a act of grace she became pregnant. I figured if I was willing to do it for her I was also willing to do it for another who was also wanting to have a child but for a myriad of reasons could not.
