Dear Jo Ann, Firstly, please let me introduce myself. I am a Japanese person who currently resides in Japan. However, I was born and have spent a good parts of my life living abroad. I am also actively involved in activities concerning the well-being of small animals, namely, dogs and cats. Having spent some time living abroad, I know very well that in various Western countries, these animals are being treated kindly. On the other hand, extremely barbarous acts are being committed in many countries in Asia, for example, Japan or China. In order to save these miserable animals from the brutality in my country, I have done volunteering. However, I have witness too much of the tragic reality through it and became extremely stressed. That stress took its toll on my body and I miscarriaged. I have been desperately fighting for the legal change in the law on treatment towards animal and the stress proved too much. Since other people cannot be counted on in this matter, I am one of a few people who are trying extremely hard to save them. Therefore, I would like to find someone to take my place.
