Why I want to be a surrogate mother:
My interest in surrogacy stemmed from my sister's difficulty getting pregnant. I was prepared to be a surrogate for her, should she not have been able to have children on her own, but it turned out that she was able to conceive! Because I still had the desire to help a family in need, I pursued surrogacy and had two successful journies with the same family. I was able to deliver a boy for them, and the next year, a little girl. I would love to be able to help out one more family realize their dream.

Having been a surrogate twice before, I know for a fact that there is no other experience like helping a family in this way. My children are my everything, and to think that there are some families out there who cannot achieve this a dream on their own, just breaks my heart. It is a gift that I am able to grow and birth these children with ease, so I am using this gift to help others.

Dear Kali, My agency, Advocates for Surrogacy, is working with an awesome gay couple, Dan and Ale who live in Miami, Florida. They celebrated their two year wedding anniversary back in May of this year. Their best friend was their egg donor. They contacted me last year and I've had the absolute pleasure of helping them through this journey from the egg donation process to the point now where they are seeking their surrogate match.
