One of my good friends, Joanne, is a Canadian surrogate and has birthed several, including twins! I've been wanting to do it for a while, and now that my husband is sterilized (and given me the thumbs up) I feel that I can do it confidently. Would love life long contact with the Intended Parents. I don't mean forced scheduled updates, but a real relationship where we check in on each other every once in a while. I know life gets busy and moves along, but it would be amazing to at least have super involved IPs during the process.
Artistic, witty, and independent. I love a good hobby, so you can hit me up for new activities. Digital art, painting, clay, etc. I love it all. I also adore school related topics, and a few years ago decided to home school my kids. I'd definitely say Science, Math, Art, and History are my favorite topics. I enjoy going out to eat, and to the movies. Especially love Nintendo video games, but also Skyrim, Dragon Age, Sims, etc. Would be amazing if my Intended Parents played games. Currently we're very into World of Warcraft. Hubby and I occasionally play DnD, and have recently tried out 5th edition which is WAY easier for new kiddies. Even though I live in Hawaii...I'm surprisingly not a beach fan! I know, in paradise and everything! I'm terrible; I love the lagoons cause they have grass, and going to the Pool at the Hale Koa. I love Scuba, snorkeling, but wish I didn't have to bring the sand back with me every time I went! I miss my home in Washington. I miss the smell of the pine trees, and especially snow in the winter time. I also have a insatiable desire to find the worlds best (worst) pun. It's out there somewhere!
I'm going to be amazing. My pregnancies are uncomplicated, I avoid drugs like the plague (Even Tylenol unless I -really- need it), my labors are fast (1-5 hours). I'm open and willing to compromise, and I won't be annoyed if you text me a million times a day. I've got a friend who has had several successful journeys to vouch for me, and hold me to a standard. This is going to be a fun journey. You're going to love it!
