Why I want to be a surrogate mother:

I was told before to abort my child because he wasn't ready to step up, and honestly that made me extremely upset because there's families who have such a hard time and stress and can't have kids. The expenses with ivf and all types of things to do to fulfill that dream of having a family. And to kill a child because that person wasn't ready? No, thats not okay in my book. There's so many things you can do without giving that child a chance to have a family and a family to have a child. That's extremely heartbreaking.

Description of myself:

Single mother of 3, the picture is the birth of my youngest son. I found out with him because he had to get open heart surgery at 10 weeks old I have a genetic gene called PBX1 (pre b-cell leukemia factor 1( I don't have the cancer part of it although the name sounds scary) (I'm the only parent in the United States and other countries to have it and pass it down to their child and it effects the heart. 2 out of my 3 kids have the genetic gene. So I will not be donating any eggs to risk the 50/50 chance to passing down to the child. I can carry without passing it down as long as my eggs are not used. As a partent having to give birth to your child and him being rushed to a children's hospital that specializes in cardiac ICU 2 hours after being born to make sure he's ok, then eventually when he puts on enough weight to have surgery, watch your child go through open heart surgery, then being so critical not able to breathe on his own and he had to use a ventilator to help him breathe which is life support and having to go through that again when they're older. I would never ever risk a child and parents to have to go through something like that. Generally speaking if you choose me to be your surrogate, I still would highly recommend having a doctor aware of it that way before starting anything he would know and if it's the right fit for you. I know personally because of my children and myself amazing genetic doctor's, in case you would need to speak with someone and follow through and after the pregnancy to be safe at all cost.
