Why I want to be a surrogate mother:

I had wonderfully easy pregnancies and labor/births with my three sweet kiddos, and while the pregnancies weren't hard, my family is complete. Surrogacy has been in my heart for several years, but I waited to be really ready. My family situation puts me out of the running for agency matching, but I know the IP(s) I am intended for are out there.

Description of myself:

I am a honest, loving, friendly, extrovert. I love reading, singing with my church band, and sci-fi. I am a lactation consultant who just started her own company helping new mamas and babies learn to breastfeed. My family is a little different, because I am in a committed and safe relationship with two loving, supportive men. They know about each other and get along very well. We are extremely open and honest with each other. Other than that, my life is quite ordinary.

My letter to intended parents:

Dear IP, I watch my kids play together, building forts around the house or helping each other climb trees at the park and I think, everyone should have this chance. Everyone should get to wake up at 6am to the sounds of a baby cooing, everyone should have the chance to wipe noses and kiss boo boos, and raise wonderful humans. I want to do that for someone. My body is great at it, I am happiest when pregnant! I have held the idea of surrogacy in my heart for several years, talking, researching, and soul searching. I know this is the path for me, and I hope you find you would like to journey along side me. With Love, Alyssa
