I would like to help bring a child to a family that is unable to or does not want to conceive traditionally. I am overwhelmed at the idea of assisting someone so dedicated to having a child. It would be a gift to be a part of that. I am personally not interested in being a parent, but would like to experience pregnancy and reduce my cancer risk.
I am shy and quiet when around strangers, but a goofball around friends. I like to camp, hike, and eat up knowledge. I am a rule follower and growing up I was called “Megan The Enforcer”. I can swing from high brow to low brow with ease, appreciating the world for what it is. I’m liberal and an atheist, so I wouldn’t do well with conservative IPs.
Hello! My name is Megan. I am a married 30 year old Technical Systems Analyst living in Colorado with her husband and two dogs. I have always imagined myself being pregnant and giving birth, but could not place myself as a parent. At 20 years old, I became pregnant by my husband, but we decided it was not the right time for us. Recently, I have watched my cousin, who is unable to have children, struggle to become a foster parent. It touched my heart to think of someone wanting to be a parent so terribly, but hurt to see them meeting so many roadblocks. If I can help bridge the gap in the least financially impacting way, while bringing such joy and happiness to potential parents, that may be the most important thing my husband and I do in our entire lives. A little bit about me…I love to get outside with my dogs and explore the Colorado mountains. My weight is an area to be improved, but all bloodwork and vitals come back exemplary. I will be improving my physical health over the coming months (weight loss) for myself and am in no rush, so I am open to moving slowly to ensure a great match and healthy pregnancy. I have my genome from 23andme, and would be happy to supply the results to any interested potential parents. Spoiler: they are great! My only allergy is to shellfish. I seldom drink, have never smoked tobacco, and refrain from drug use. I will consider any safe diet during pregnancy that the potential parent(s) would prefer and I would prefer to remain as physically active as I can. I sure hope to find a potential parent that has a sense of humor, is kind, believes in positive reinforcement parenting, and has a support system of some kind set up for their hopeful child.
