Why I want to be a surrogate mother:
I want to be a surrogate for a number of reasons, mainly that I can't imagine my life without my daughter and I want to give that gift to another family through a mutually beneficial arrangement.

I would describe myself as a kind, compassionate person who is very active, positive, and energetic.

Dear Mom and/or Dad, Thank you so much for reading my profile and considering me to be apart of such a special life decision. I'm honestly not really sure where to begin. Please know that I understand the importance of choosing someone who will take care of your child while he/she is growing and developing in the womb as if they were caring for their own child. That is my commitment to you. I'm Melissa. I am a Kindergarten teacher. My entire life revolves around caring for and loving children, from my daughter to my 30 BFFs in my classroom. I was very blessed in conceiving my daughter almost immediately and having a very healthy pregnancy with a relatively uncomplicated birth. I have medical benefits that will cover the medical care throughout the pregnancy and delivery as well. I eat a very healthy diet (kale smoothies are wonderful, even if my daughter teases me for drinking "frog water"). I am very active (to the extent I am banned from participating from the Fitbit step counting competitions at work because they all got tired of "playing for second"). I don't smoke, drink, or do recreational drugs at all. I am happy to travel to you for the embryo transfers and any other medical/personal aspects of this process that you would like. I have a great support system in place.
Hi Melissa, I am in awe of your desire to help answer the prayers of a stranger by helping to build their family. My husband and I have been struggling with infertility and recurrent pregnancy losses for years. We are blessed with 7 healthy PGT-A tested embryos that are ready to go. As a paediatrician and scientist, we are financially stable, ready and excited to make this investment! Having a big family means the world to us and we have so much love to share :). We have had time to build our careers, and now are ready to switch gears and focus on building our family. Hi Melissa - thank you for putting yourself out there and offering to do this for us that arent able to do it on our own. My husband and I have always talked about our future children and last year, we found out that it may never happen for us.I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer - and while I now have a clean bill of health, I had to have a hysterectomy in July of *** have 3 perfect embryos waiting for us and are just looking for the right person.We live just west of Toronto, but are obviously willing to drive anywhere, anytime, for anything.
