Why I want to be a surrogate mother:
Like I mentioned above.I have given up my daughter for adoption, and that process was very rewarding because I was helping a family complete the family they were wanting, and I would love to be able to help a couple through surrogacy, who are struggling with fertility ands h who are wanting to start or complete their family by giving them their baby.
Description of myself:
Hi there!! My name is Kathleen Monson, but I go by Katie!! I am 35 years.I was brought to the United States from Guatemala because I was adopted from Guatemala at 9 months old.I am originally from Iowa.Both of my parents are deceased.I am now married, and live in Alabama.I have one stepson and we have had another baby together. To make a long story short, back in *** when I was 17 years old I had a baby girl, and at that time I had decided to give her up for adoption so she could have the life she deserved.Her adoption has been an open adoption from the start, and what that means is I receive pictures along with a letter every year shortly after her birthday from her parents, and they give me an update on how she’s been doing over the last year.I also do not know what state she lives in, I do not know her last name, and I do not know the town (or city) she lives in.
My letter to intended parents:
Hey Y’all!! My name is Katie!! And I am married and we are currently living in Alabama.I am of Guatemalan decent.I’m happy bubbly and always try to see the positive side of things.I believe God *** but I don’t have any religious traditions that I go by as far as the pregnancy would go and the delivery would go.I do plan to share my surrogacy journey with family and friends, but if you however would not like to be part of the social media part of that, and if you don’t want anyone knowing the sex of the baby, and you don’t want to be on social media I absolutely can respect that *** only thing I’ll be sharing is the size of my belly, and each trimester as I go through this journey.If you have any other questions for me feel free to ask me anything, I am an open book!! 😊
