Pat, Thai Surrogate Mother in Franklin, New Zealand

Hi there :) We are a couple in our 30s from Melbourne. We have been longing for a family (to join our dog Maple) but unfortunately life seems to have had other plans and we are hoping for a miracle surrogate. In the past 2 years, I have experienced 2 miscarriages. The last one was compounded with the worst bout of hyperemesis gravidarium my GP and OB-GYN said they had seen in their careers. I was off work, nauseous 24/7, lost 10kg in a month, had 5 fillings, hospital visits, malnutrition, hydration, severe depression and muscle weakness. I was so unwell it has been deemed unsafe for me to be pregnant again. This was on top of a horrible 2 years - my dad passed, my aunt passed, our wedding was cancelled twice, I was made redundant, we had about 8 or 9 holidays cancelled, and of course like everyone, the backdrop of Covid. In better times, we love both thinking we are The Funny One, movies, travel, spending time with family and friends, dressing up the dog (maybe that bit is just me), the beach and matching daggy shirts for any occasion! We would love to start our own little family to come into our warm home of love and laughter, to bring up into a wonderful little person in this world. Thank you for reading xx

Surrogacy
Our names are Rusty and Devon, we live in Raglan with our 2 dogs, Kaia and Tui. We got engaged earlier this year. We are searching for a surrogate to help us complete our family. Rusty is 28 years old. He has bachelor and Master degrees and is a well known Osteopath in Raglan. He enjoys waka ama, surfing, pilates, yoga and gardening. Rusty also in the second year studying Te Reo Maori through Te Wananga o Aotearoa. Russell is of pakeha descent. Devon is 33 years old. He has a bachelors in finance, and is a procurement specialist for a large agri-company. Devon absolutely loves his career, which lucky as it takes up a lot of his time. In his down time, Devon enjoys true crime documentaries, tennis and crochet. He is of Ngai te Rangi. You will often find us walking Kaia and Tui on the beach, out in the bays swimming/kayaking/fishing, hosting friends and family for dinner parties, trying different cusines in the cities, and travelling the country. We have a strong social nerwork, and strong relationships with both our families. We spend a lot of time with siblings, nephews, neices, cousins, grandparents and our parents. We are in a strong financial position, and own our own home and a rental property, and have plenty of whanau support should this change. In the new year we will begin to try concieving a child with a wonderful surrogate we have been lucky enough to find. This will be done using Devons semen. We are hoping to find another amazing lady to help us have a second child (using Rusty), fairly close in age to our first. Ideally someone with a known family history and of good health.
