Why I want to be a surrogate mother:

I am interested in providing surrogacy for a family that has a waiting embryo. I know many families who have undergone IVF cycles have frozen embryos that might not have the opportunity to develop and join their families without the support of a surrogate. Along with the joy of being a blessing to your family, I am motivated to surrogacy by the knowledge that a precious life is waiting for a safe place to grow and I have the ability to provide that temporary home. I am not entering the surrogacy process for any personal gain. I believe in the value of life and view this opportunity as a means of serving God and honouring His creation.

Description of myself:

I am a happily single woman with a career that I love! I work as a nurse, caring primarily for premature and sick infants. I love watching and supporting families as they bond with and learn to care for their precious children. I am a Christian and seek to serve and honour Christ with my life. I love children and am currently a foster mom for children age 0-5. I am healthy and active with a BMI of 23. I do not smoke, drink alcohol, or use recreational drugs. I'm positive, easy-going and not easily stressed. I have an incredible support system of friends, family and co-workers. I own my home and currently have my sister and brother-in-law living with me while they save for a home of their own.

My letter to intended parents:

I appreciate that your journey to surrogacy has been wrought with heartache, guilt, disappointment and loss. I pray that you will soon start a new journey of love, joy, and hope with your little one. Whether near or far, it would be my greatest desire to have you as involved in the pregnancy as possible. My work with babies has taught me that they do not 'meet' their parents on their birthday. Rather, they already know the people who love them most and simply get to 'see' them for the first time. I would love for your child to know and recognise your voice before (s)he is born and am open to any means through which you can bond with your baby during the pregnancy. I am also open to providing breastmilk if you would like your baby to receive it.

Need help to have a sibling for my 6 months son
Hi Valerie, thank you so much for stepping out to help other families. We live in Sherwood Park, Alberta. We are looking for surrogacy because I had really bad luck during delivery. We are really lucky to have our son this year. He has brought us so much joy and happiness. We always wanted kids and our children to grow up with support and love from sibling. However, I had really bad luck during delivery. I lost double of my full blood volume and end up in ICU for a while. I had 2 other surgeries right after the delivery and end up losing uterus. I feel so sorry that I am not able to carry more babies and give my son a sibling. Luckily, I have learned about surrogate and that there are so many generous and caring ladies like you. We had so much support from nurses when we are hospitalized. We can't make it with so much help from all the nurses and doctors. Please contact me if you are interested to help us. We will be really blessed to have a surrogate mom and have our second baby.

Hi Valerie
I am unable to carry a child so we are looking for a surrogate to carry our precious child. We live on acreage in Brisbane and have one beautiful boy who is 7. We have frozen embryos ready to go in Canada and Australia. If you feel a connection and are ready to embark on this journey, we would love to hear from you. Please read our profile. Thank you for the wonderful gift you are giving.

Wanting to Free Snowflakes
Dear Valerie, We are a couple from Minnesota, hoping for the opportunity to adopt and be parents of a little "snowflake". We do have children now and would like them to be a little older--close to moving out--before starting a new journey. Would you be willing to share contact information with us and consider us a couple years from now? We'd love to have a child to dote on as we approach our 50's.

I would love to talk. I'm in nova Scotia and scared of the surrogate process but it's only option we have. I am in process of fertility clinic now and surrogate is hardest step for us to complete

“Is anything too hard for the Lord” (Genesis 18:14)?
Dear Valerie, We are a Christian couple who love the Lord and wish to have a family. Although we are both fertile, the Lord has chosen to form us without a womb and has given us a low follicle count. We have prayed with humble and earnest hearts and we believe it is God’s will for us to have a biological child of our own. This has not been an easy journey, but it has been one already blessed with abundant hope, faith, love, and joy. After six years of prayer and preparation, we now begin our search for the person we know God must provide if His plan for us is to bear fruit. Valerie, if you believe the Holy Spirit of Gods is calling you to take this journey with us we welcome you joyfully and praise the Lord for His loving kindness. Yours in faith Alan and Beth PS. We both live and work in Halifax and are currently AART Clinic patients.
